Where You Will Serve
Casa Providencia is located in Colon, Panama, very close to the famous Panama Canal. You'll see an area touched by the history of the Panama Canal and the international efforts and collaboration that made it possible.
Casa Providencia is a special-needs orphanage, a safe place and refuge for children who would otherwise be cast aside, neglected, or forgotten.
The children at Casa Providencia have an incredible outside play space - you can think of it as a gross motor room in the middle of a natural paradise.
The children at Casa Providencia are impacted by a variety of physical and developmental disabilities that require therapeutic intervention. You can make a big difference here.
Work alongside local and U.S. clinicians who are treating the children at Casa Providencia.
Your Living Quarters
Casa Paraiso is located right outside the bustling Panama City, just a 25 minute drive up route 852. Staying there gives you easy access to many excursions and to all Panama City has to offer with its restaurants and culture.
You will be staying at Casa Pariso, which translates to “House of Paradise” - which it is. Come and discover this hidden gem built specifically to host international groups serving in Panama.
The facility provides a variety of private rooms, and community spaces perfect for socializing and reflecting on your experiences.
Casa Paraiso is equipped with a commercial kitchen to accommodate cooking and easy meals.
When you are in Panama, you are never far from the rain forest. This is the view from one of the balconies!
If it is raining outside, you can play table tennis or other games inside instead.
Your Transportation
You will be shuttled around in a van similar to this one by our experienced drivers.
Our drivers will take you from Casa Paraiso to the special needs orphanage in Colon and to Panama City as scheduled.
